In addition to modern similar films, though--if you love the film for its witty dialogue and the way its characters start of butting heads and fall in love almost without realizing it, the classic screwball rom-coms of the 30s are going to totally be your jam, and there is a treasure trove of great ones to check out. I highly recommend The Philadelphia Story, It Happened One Night, and My Man Godfrey. All three feature rapid fire banter and the kind of relationships you're rooting for long before the characters wise up to the fact that they're meant to be, and the star some of the most charismatic actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

I figured it was about time that I worked my way through some of these older romantic comedies. I'm not the biggest lover of the genre, but I do like a good one, from time to time.  Besides, there are some movies that every movie fan needs to have seen. I've heard that When Harry Met Sally. is one of them, so I'm finally getting around to it. 
So, what did I think? It was OK. Quite funny in some parts. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan work well as a couple, and I like the way the movie flitted around their various meetings, before it settled down into the story. The random interviews of couples interspersed in the movie were really cool, too. It wasn't the best movie of this kind that I've seen, but it was good enough that I'm pleased to add it to the list of movies that I've seen. Fans of the genre will probably love it (tbough I'm sure 95% of those people have seen it already) while people like me won't feel like they're wasting their time while watching it.

A great film, I enjoyed how she helped change the girls in her class. I first watched this in human behavior in high school. Fair to say the whole movie had our attention, especially the restaurant scene. Even though I didn't totally understand all of the nuances then, I totally appreciate them now. They really make you think about when adults used to tell you, "You won't understand until you're older. ". When Harry Met Sally. watch.
